The priest did mention somewhere along the lines of the crown is not of the emperors blood..solidifying that Alex is not the emperor's child. So Carlix is the rightful heir. I just want to know what happened to Elena, the duke's sister.
it would be a real twist if she actually wasn't dead. I don't like how the author is continuing the story with Elena basically never mentioning her sister again. Especially since she was able to leave the tower shortly for her wedding, how did she not even think to ask to see her sister?! plot holes :/
my theory is.. elena is maybe.. somewhat alive..or the priests/temple is using her energy to give power to the fake saintess..whatever her name was.. i forgot ooh.. i hope they don't skip that part.. i hope ella learns that her sister is dead and she married her sisters husband..
i read some of the raws and the priest dude shows up again and I just realized how much he looks like the crown prince alex and it also shows how the young emperor looks just like Carlix does now. So I'm starting to think the crown prince's dad is actually the priest cuz yo he doesn't even look like the emperor or the empress . Plus the priest has been helping the empress and crown prince. Then technically Carlix would be the only rightful heir to the throne~
