like I don't want tei to just give into shurakas advances from the get go. the more bwat steers this one into a heartfelt slow burn, the better IMO
Also it's been ten years since they last saw or spoke to each other, like? You don't just pick up where you left off in terms of acquaintanceship or friendship after a decade of no contact... of course Tei is going to be cold and reserved towards Shuraka, they're basically strangers once again.
