Honestly the gang stuff is only hard to follow because of the time in between chapters and the flashbacks, some of our short attention spans just forget things, I know I did. So I did a reread to refresh my memory and it all made much more sense when I was able to flow from one chapter to the next and remembered things from old chapters I hadn't seen in months. But you are definitely right there is sooooo much more than the triangle part. I even tried to read again while removing my own bias and remembered I never hated TJ, it's his fans that made me start rolling my eyes at him. Many of them just kinda suck and barely read the story or see anything beyond him as endgame, imo, not all but the loud ones. Sorry js. I personally prefer Jo or all go our seperate ways kind of ending just for the triangle part, but there is much more to wrap up on top of that. Whatever the author does is fine to me it's their story to tell and it's very well written. The only ending I would hate is poly. I know some want it but it just doesn't feel proper to the story to me.

This story is not JUST about which guy the MC ends up with.
It's about so much more, it explores homophobia, poverty, violence, love and even race. Though it doesn't do it all perfectly, it shows a poor gay asian boy growing up with no stability.
The older he gets the more he craves normalcy and that's the two worlds each of the ML's represent.
I think this manhwa explores the question of "Can people really change?" Funny how it's most likely "No" for TJ cause he doesn't even want to, and it's a "Yes" for Jo because of all that we've seen happen lately. As for Ian, I feel like he's never been into the things he's had to do to survive, he's moslty stayed the same while trying to change the things and people around him.
Only thing I really don't like about this story is how confusing the gang storytelling is, a rich plot is always great to have but it's disappointing when it's made so complicated, it doesn't help that some characters that are supposed to be from enemy factions sometimes look similar. Tbh Ennead is also one story that I find extremely confusing, I could love it but it just gets into the thick of mythology I have never ever heard of and does a terrible job at explaining things, same here.
All in all, I hope y'all can stop diluting a whole story or your whole being even to who you "end up with", truth of the matter is the one you end up with in every scenario is yourself, that's the relationship that matters most.
