So disappointed

Bitcccchhhh is this another manhwa where the abuser gets forgiven and nothing will ever happen to them? Bruh, I had an inkling the duke was gonna be forgiven at the very start, especially with how the fl acted. She was wayyyyy too bubbly and innocent. Is it rlly innocent tho for trying to mend a relationship BETWEEN AN ABUSER AND VICTIM??? HELLLOOOOOO???? I had such high expectations for this manhwa cuz of how cute the fl and how badass Chloe is, but chapter 14 rlly solidified my suspicion. When will this trope ever end???? Why r authors teaching victims to forgiven those who abused u??? I'm so confused. Atp, I dislike the mc too. U legit knew how ur precious lady Chloe was treated, and despite that ur gonna force them to mend their relationship??? Seriously?? I would've fine if it's just a measly fight between them, but we're talking about abuse and neglect here incredibly disappointed, and I hope fellow readers like me who despise this kind of trope can avoid this.

If someone is gonna come at and defend the duke, stop. Punishing a previous tutor is the most bare minimum thing anyone can do. He was no parent to his biological daughter for starving her with affection, and neglecting her when she was depressed, which she clearly needed desperate help. Sorry but if the dad was there for her, this wouldn't have happened. Imagine a dog dying that caused all of her life to fall apart, and now were somehow forced to be convinced the dad deserves a second chance???

Also, this person legit adopts ppl with potential, and kicks them out when they have no value. At a logical standpoint, sure. But srsly??? Yet again, the dad's r always forgiven despite them being so shtty, just because one time "tHeY fIrEd/PuNiShEd a servant" for their supposed beloved child. That's like a parent saying "u should be grateful I gave u shelter, food and clothes.. Like that's not what a parent supposed to do hello?? U BROUGHT them to this world with their consent. Love and affection should be ur number one priority. Such a stupid trope, I don't get how it's so popular.

"hE dIdNt KnOw" oh but he is supposed to be the head of the family, and all sorts of news will be brought up to him. Yet again proving he is no fit to be a parent, so how is this trope still popular?? Especially with how there's NO redemption at all. Just forced bonding, and the victim has to always be the one to move. Lmao sorry for this long rant. But I'm so sick and tired of tropes like this. Just showcasing how pitiful the victims r, and the abusers will always stay on top with not even a drop of sweat.

I AGREE!! ╥﹏╥ I hope the author won't do that.. But they're definitely just letting the abuser have a "happy ending" huhuhu GAHHHHH (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

It's alrdy confirmed that the dad will have a happy ending lmao just look at chapter 24. I'm honestly shocked he even uttered the words "I'm sorry I didn't listen to you", but ofc the victim HASSS to be equally at fault by making Chloe say "it's okay, I haven't been telling you either" SORRY WHAT??? The whole ass society knows that Chloe is the the black sheep of the family, whereas that btch pink hair is the saint. She never got proper affection growing up, the dude adopts another kid INSTEAD of focusing on his clearly starved of affection daughter, and then she gets depressed asf but noooo the dad thinks how dareee she feels such big emotion to a dog! Oh how prosperous! BLURGH like dude this all stemmed from u. If u actually did ur role as a father, all of these would have never happened. And what hurts more? It's the fact that from the fl's memory, that btch pink hair girl succeeded in framing Chloe oh but didn't he also know from that interrogation that pink btch was ordering the red head girl?? Oh wow how convenient!!! So he is actually aware of how things work, but nope! Let his kids survive of the cruel system that the dad CREATED. It's crazy how the thought that maybe having like 2-3 kids r enough? Like idk! Maybe actually don't make them fight to death?

(correction, idk if that pink hair btch was adopted after Chloe was born. But assuming so. Another correction, I meant to say "according to the fl's vision of the future"
