This is a gem

This surprised me by being so dark and focused on the crime and mystery aspect of the story. The vague mystery surrounding why Satoe did what she did was also interesting along with this question of whether Miwa even actually had the ability they claimed he did. The only problem I had with this story was Yoshiomi being so accepting of the sexual intercourse with Norito when he has been so sexually abused since he was a child. I actually would've preferred the sex to either be at the very end or omitted altogether bc the story itself sufficed. I'm surprised about the sex considering this author's other work "Palace of the Omega" bc they omitted sex between the main characters until one of them was legally an adult.
