Theyre not really doing it for status… theyre doing it moreso to be accepted in society, since they don’t believe they could be together safe and happy without changing things drastically… by any means necessary

Right…which is kind of for social status lol I just hate how the drastic-ness of their actions doesn’t match their reason for doing it imo. It could be believable if Gyor was dying of some unexplained illness or something, but the reason they’re doing all of this is just so…lame
