A LOT of people on here don’t seem to know what a twink actually is. It’s so often I see people complaining about how they wish there were more twink tops, or they wish the bottom wasn’t so much of a twink… and the tops in the bl they’re complaining under is literally a fucking twink by definition… they seem to think being a twink means looking effeminate, or like a damn twig… twinks can be muscular, they can look clearly athletic.. it just mildly peeves me, really..

Yeah I haven’t read it but looking at him, I think he’s more of a twunk by this point as well… I got my understanding from real life twinks, rather than fictional ones, so I guess thats why my definition is more broad than just frail and thin… had the top in that manhwa been slightly more lean, I would say he could still pass as a twink.. when I think of a twink, what comes to mind is lean, could be skinny but also could be somewhat muscular, young, could be tall but not like… notably tall. I’m trying to think of examples but my brain does not really like to do that at this point in my life; I’ll have to come back probably when something comes to me

I always knew he was not mentally stable… and I fear this is still not his worst… Like, if you look back you can definitely see the signs he was treading on hair-thin ice. I don’t even have to look back cause I always knew he was not right in the dome… He’s been obsessed with yujin for an indefinite period of time, had an extremely traumatic experience in his formative years, has also made it obvious that his home was not a safe place either back then, and the most glaringly obvious thing; he doesn’t sleep… just look at his face any time he’s alone and not wearing a mask. It felt like foreshadowing to me, really.
there was definitely signs but you really have to see this from a perspective of outside of just this manhwa.
people in the west especially are really over the rape slop. it’s a shock because this was a very well received manhwa by the masses and therefore very disappointing when it takes a typical route.
To me, it doesn’t feel random (albeit a bit overdone and forced) but it definitely feels exaggerated. It’s “fanservice”.
He literally held yujin at gunpoint five chapters in… because he tried to leave the room.. and then talked about how well he would sing after aaron blew a hole in his throat?? and then yujin subsequently propositioned him and it led to their first ever time having sex. and aaron was not gentle in the slightest whatsoever??? were we reading the same manhwa…? I live in the west for certain, by the way. I don’t like rape more than anyone else, but aarons attitude towards sex has always been this way.. I think people gave him a lot of credit because of yujin’s personality, and I guess the fact that he supposedly hadn’t been thinking about that (even though he had literally pinned yujin’s hands above his head and stood balls to balls “messing with him” at gunpoint seconds prior) before yujin offered to suck him off…

I think him threating him to shoot is a form of gun play. Gun play does that from my knowledge of reading fanfics and smut stories. I think he really did that as a form of kink and he matched w him but I will agree that it was def scary if I were yujin
I guess all I was saying in my comment was that I don’t know why everyone is acting like aaron was so good before when he was always like this… he’s literally an actor. there’s not really even anything known about aaron except things pointing to him being very unstable mentally, despite the mask he keeps on. like for example, his family is clearly not normal. he mentioned they have some suspiciously vague hunting tradition, and he clearly doesn’t like them, especially his father. It’s pretty glaring that something is missing in him and he wants yujin to fill it.. he mellowed out only because he felt secure enough that he had yujin to do so.. obviously when he managed to slip away after aaron thought he anticipated everything, he probably just stopped trying to act like he thought would make yujin accept him, and instead just did what he really thought he wanted… which was evidently to have yujin all to himself.. if this was SA(not disputing that obviously) than so was their first time because it could very easily be argued yujin only came onto him in the first place so he would put down the gun…
that sounds crazy in context… aaron had been talking about how he was chased and shot at as a kid, so yujin obviously felt uncomfortable because his father was the perpetrator…. and he tried to make an excuse to leave, but then aaron slammed him into the gun wall and put a gun to his neck talking about how he looked like the man… I don’t think yujin was feeling very horny at that moment
No one was acting like Aaron is a good person. Hell, ppl liked that their relationship was toxic(so do i), the problem is, it's always the same formula that other stories used. It's getting repetitive and bland ofc ppl are gonna be upset. We want flashlight to be unique, just a lil is okay
Their toxicity isn't the main problem, it's the plot. It's going the same direction other authors used. I don't want their relationship to be greenflag, I want their toxicity to be tasteful, not whatever this bullshit is

People were talking about how he would have never, or acting as though there was no warning before he abruptly started doing these kinds of things… I saw people saying the author ruined him, or that he would never have done such a thing in S1… people definitely are acting like he used to be so good… I get you, about the toxicity, and I guess it’s mainly my own disposition and experience with other manhwas like this that make it so obvious to me when they’re going to be toxic… and I think that despite my being desensitized to these types of bl by now, and because as soon as I start seeing signs, I pretty much have zero expectations for the person’s behavior thereafter.. like, I guess because I take words so seriously, and they tend to say and think things that make me consider them bad news while others wouldn’t really be bothered by the same things.. and so when they do things that make it more clear, I had already thought them bad and therefore no longer had the emotional attachment to be disappointed when they do worse… I guess it’s because of other manhwas, really.. even ones people consider just ‘toxic’ and like all the characters as such, I still personally tend to consider them bad.. I guess it’s exactly because it’s so repetitive that I got too desensitized to be disappointed this stuff
