I think he knew about the existence of this new drug beforehand, and he might have a thing against them (we still don’t know much about him) so he used the club of her friend to lure it there or smt, but because of that mc got drugged, so he feels guilty. Why is he so perceptive and was able to connect the dots that fast beats me… but he is kind of stalkery so there might be something there idk
