To be honest it’s not fair to him regardless. If we sent someone else weaker he would have imprinted and imprisoned them. He was a loose cannon from the beginning and was going to be rude to him mate no matter who she was. She did the og mc a favor lol. I feel bad for the sml but not really. He can’t help it but whoever is on the other end of his love will end up being suffocated unless it was a shewolf
I think the reason the original FL was trapped by him was because a big part of her rejected him due to her hatred for beastmen, and he behaving this way towards the current fml because she's rejecting him too. It's hard to blame him when he spent his whole life HATING the existence of imprint like the curse that it is. And honestly, homegirl could've stuck the potion in a bucket above him in the tree and dumped it on his ahh and he'd turn out just fine. The entire point of him is to create pointless obstacles for the fml and her lying ass man, so really it's an Authors L.
I hope ML will use some sort of dragon magic and free him

I'll be honest, I really dislike how the author made the original ML into a subpar villain just to create conflict withon the story for the two lovers. He literally cannot control it, and the fmc who shoved her way in knowing there was a risk of imprint is literally scorning and blaming him because he can't "respect boundaries" when she KNEW how hed feel and act if he did imprint on her, and acknowledges that its out of his control? I understand she isn't obligated to entertain his feelings, but she could've sent a servant it friend or ANY alternative to saving him than doing it herself, and now she's essentially blaming him and being rude ASF about it. He doesn't deserve this, it's cruel to do this to anybody and then call them a villain
