This is such a good thing to notice it is kinda sad seeing how the FL’s life kinda surrounds the ML’s wishes now and follows whatev he wants her to do.
A good series that kinda strays from that is akagami no shirayuki hime! Theres romance but the FL is able to fullfill her dreams and work up the ladder while staying the ML’s side
something always bothers me about these stories with free spirited motivated female characters who become the subject of affection of a noble and worst of all one who will be an emperor. There is no way for her to live the life she always strived for and have the freedom she craves while being a stuffy noble or god forbid an empress. So, while it is funny in the beginning when ML meets MC and he is gobsmacked by how little she cares for him and all that after living like the sun shines from his ass his entire life. But there is something fundamentally sad about the inevitable romance
