Ok I didn’t want to read this at first despite the good reviews due to the whole dating someone much younger and that raised you thing. But I did enjoy it a lot more than I thought, especially the first half. There isn’t any grooming here either or pedophilia (at least from Harry). But unfortunately, please don’t hate me, because I know this is well received, I couldn’t really get past the whole he raised him part if I’m being honest, especially when they started sleeping together, like as much as the art style tried to make Harry look young and the same age as James, that was all I could think of . I think it is worth reading because I was unsure at first too, but despite liking both characters I couldn’t really get behind them being together for the obvious reason, and I think it changed quite fast from Harry thinking “it’s all my fault that this happened” and spoiler trying to die, to saying the “I love you” and them sleeping together.
It was also the flashbacks for me. Also, I agree with you about that confession part, it became too fast-paced from there. I was like how did we get from there to here?
