What are your recommendations ?
I would recommend shonen/seinen medical manhwa. Like black haired British doctor, doctor's rebirth, reincarnated as Legendary Surgeon, trauma center etc
They are story centered and history based with lot reality touch (and comedy)
For female MC my favorite is kusuriya no hitorigoto. Despite being pharmacist she did doctor job in palace. She is a weirdo in Sherlock Holmes way. Logical girl that "mature" beyond her age. Her antic always make me laugh. Author did lot of research of on ancient chinnese , the mysteries surround them really Made your brain work out
oh yeah the apothecary's diary is my favourite too. I'd love any recommendations in this area iseky + medical is a perfect recipe in my book if you have any complete ones I'd appreciate. I bookmarked your other recommendations until they are complete. also I actually loved this one because it was an easy read without toomuch conflict so anything like it is good too.
After 5 years i think to reread this, but i could not even got to chapter 50. I stop because it just too "shojo" for me. After read tons of medical (Isekai) manga/manhwa/manhua, this one fall short, and more like romance for teens. Some scenes too cringey, i had the same reaction when watching Twillight. She supposed to be "genius" and mature 30y.o Surgeon, but some of her action kinda off. I know why i just skipped to the ending Lol.
But if you're looking for all about romance with a bit of medical scene, an op surgeon with drama of teens, and with a problem that you know would be solved as fast as fast You're on it! It actually better than most romance out there.
Just not my taste.
