Question question

I remember reading this a long time ago, back when it only had the earliest chapters. There’s a question that has been on my mind ever since. I want to know did the ML really not know An Zhe’s true identity? If he didn’t know, when it was revealed, didn’t he feel guilty about killing the others while letting An Zhe pass, even though An Zhe was also not human?

But if he did know, why did he decide to let An Zhe pass while killing the other non-humans?
I was trying to understand and justify the ML action

To answer your question, ML did suspect that An Zhe wasn't human because he "felt" different but then, he is also very different compared to other non-humans so that feeling was the reason why ML hadn't killed him. He felt too human to be a non-human.

Afaik, ML still have doubts about An Zhe but it's like he knows there is something different about An Zhe but not exactly that he is dangerous
