i think sadly the final incident was the catalyst, how tragic that the mothers was genuinely a selfless individual, if it wasn’t for that if it wasn’t for mcs deep guilt I really think he would have finally been able to step away
I really love this one but the ending was disappointing, I really wanted haruki to heal and not get involved with hikaru ever again. Even if he didn't end up with hanabusa I'd still want him to stay single and care for himself. Hikaru deserves to be in agony and never be with haruki. Like he literally ruined MC's whole life, leaving a deep scar.
Aside from the disappointing ending, overall the manga was a good read. I cried on every chapter. If you like to be sad and depressed go and read this.
