Not the first series to go too young. If he had been 13 or 14 it would have been realistic for a prodigy to command though. Plenty of historical precedent

this is the type of action regression slop I usually like in stories but what’s taking me out is how young and op the mc is. genuinely why is an 8 and 11 years old going on monster hunts and leading battles of war?? It wouldn’t do any harm to the story if his power level matches his age idk but I just can’t take anything serious
