Gotta love how this guy makes everything worse with his mere presence.
For all that he says mortals are stupid and lowly creatures, he's hardly better himself. Lowly enough to steal in a crowded market and abuse his lover and stupid enough not to realize how his actions are negatively affecting the MC.
He lashes out at everyone around him, throwing his weight and title around like an angry toddler, making his problems everyone else's -- and has the God-given nerve to act surprised when it blows up in his face? And he's supposed to be a divine being?
At least the modern version seems to have grown up a bit. Silver lining I guess.
