the thing that this author do so well is writing characters who commit to the bit. sure, there are some parts that can be ridiculous and have plotholes, but the character writing is what makes the story continue. each of the characters' motivations and behaviors make sense when you look at the way their characters are set up. even tatiana seems to me very compelling as a villain, even as she scrambles to chase whatever way to destroy karina. the desperation MAKES SENSE. she's been taught that this is the way to maintain herself as the center of love and attention, of course she didn't want to lose it, gradually losing her morals along the way. especially with the way Andy reacted when he snapped from the brainwashing. the other characters, even though they tend to be dramatic at times, COMMITS TO THE BIT. that's their character and they stick to it, so the actions they made makes sense!! the plotholes might be there, but solid character writing goes a long way
