There r other circumstances u should consider yk, like how some children react very differently to abuse considering how young he was manipulated into thinking he was a girl so that issues about him being an illegitimate son would not cause bloodshed against his brothers to the throne, leaving him neglected and cast aside from his family without knowing any political issues. Yet this one older brother of his showed affection and seemed to truly care for him when all his family viewed him pathetically, like what child would not feel very attached to him n then hatred to the person who had killed that very person infront of him? As someone who had an extremely abusive childhood and was treated terribly by my parents and siblings I'm really struggling to relate to this MC.
