Ngl it just doesn't add up that his in love with his bff/secretary. Because wdym you've been in love with your childhood friend for so fucking long then suddenly it change 360 degrees when seojoon confessed and went away. Then now he doesn't feel anything to the childhood bff(mind you, he made a whole fashion designs inspired of him and give him collab with a famous french chef).

I just feel like seojoon deserve someone better. Just because the blonde has some "character development" by being a decent friend and trying to take interest on seojoon(which btw has been his friend for decade) doesn't mean he is a great guy for him. I'm not hating the blonde guy, I just don't think they should be meant to be

I think it was more the shock of the blond guy losing the one person who was always by his side for the past 12 years. I mean that's a huge change and since he was his secretary, best friend, and roommate he saw all the holes in his life without him. So it made him take focus off the childhood friend and try to fill those holes. Because before that he had an idea of his childhood friend that he loved and then he met him and still loved him to an extent, but compared to losing his secretary it wasn't as large of a deal. Plus it was made clear that he would never really have a chance with his childhood friend. So I think, thinking that way would kinda explain why he did a 360 and decided to completely focus on his secretary.

I think it's the difference between limerence and love. He felt limerence for our MC, and he loves his secretary. Movies, stories and western cultures glorify limerence as romantic love, so when someone feels it, it's passionate, intense, but ultimately, it's based on a idealized perception we have of the other person.

Compared to that, love is a deeper feeling, it's steady, safe and comforting, build on trust, understanding, and time. It can be romantic, but doesn't have to be. And it can evolve.

I think this is what we are seeing here - the Fashion designer loves his secretary, but it wasn't a romantic love, nor did he consider the option of it being romantic, because he was so infatuated with the MC. The Secretary's confession made the Fashion Designer rethink their relationship, and made him consider the possibility of it evolving inti a romantic love.

So now we are witnessing the FD actually seeing the Secretary as a romantic interest, and evolving his love for him into a more mature form, where he is trying to love the Secretary the way the Secretary needs it instead of how it suited the FD. And I find it really admirable and truly romantic, that a person will put in the effort to actually cater to the needs and love language of the person they love, instead of just loving them the way they themselves find appealing.

In the long run, I think they can become a very healthy and happy couple, because both parties are willing to put a lot of work into the relationship.

I love this comment so much. Im ngl, I still can't decide if I like this pairing, mostly cuz I was so excited for Seojoon leaving and finding himself outside of the Blonde and wanted to see his journey of self-discovery, but I love the way uve phrased it here and tbh yea, it's super romantic.

I do think they could b really healthy and happy together, but I also kinda want to see the Blonde gravel a lil more just for the optics, u know? I think Seojoon deserves a lil extra somethin for 10 years being lowkey brushed off in favor of someone who wasn't even there.

Tbh I just want good things for Seojoon, idec what the good thing is as long as hes happy.

Seojoon deserves all the nice things, but let the Blondie stay by his side so he can learn how to properly love and adore Seojoon ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
