well he probs doesn't look the same cause that was when he was a teenager and now he's a grown man but i get what ur saying about the artstyle but it doesn't look too bad. I also get what ur saying about how the stories have changed, there's no way those two would be okay going no contact with each other it seems out of character especially for ML
Things will turn around when the ML appears, they’re still so whipped for each other in the novel when he appears

Right when he appears, there some awkwardness but both of them are still very obviously into each other still like the years barely did anything to wane their want for one another
He actually should be appearing soon story wise, in the next maybe 5-6 chapters maybe a little more or less depending on how quickly or slowly the manga goes through the events of the novel.

I hate how much the story has changed, even the art style. It feels like a completely different story, and our MC doesn’t look like our cute boy anymore TT. Still, I’ll be waiting for our ML to come back
