From what I could tell it seemed like the uncle was into chuono’s mom (not sure if they actually had a physical relationship or not), so when she passed away he grieved her and took it too far by basically imposing his affection for her onto her son. In the uncles mind he probably looked similar enough to his mother when he was younger. He basically raped him a bunch and probably left once he got older.
