You are so right, I see this to every manhwa now like the criticisms of this is not acceptable or what so what so(I mean I totally get it but sometimes you know this writing imperfections that we point out is what makes the story different than others, like its characters have this kind of personality) (I hate rape though but it depends if the genre is psychological or at means of having warnings because of its context), we need to be patient in their development and make sure that it'll be not OOC
Exactly. Thank you for pointing that out. People are multifaceted; not everything is black and white, good or bad. I’m in my late 20s and I’ve been reading manhwa and manga since I was a teenager. Sure, some stories are basically cheap porn with zero character development, but not all of them are like that.
Characters in stories make mistakes. As all humans do. That’s normal. Not every story needs to be sunshine and rainbows to be considered good. Honestly, that would be so boring.
I forgot to mention that it’s more of the newest generation of readers that have become so politically correct about the way they think stories should be told. That’s why I mentioned my age.
True, and say this, they hate stereotypes yet what they're doing is putting stereotypical remarks to every story they read--"they are so red flag, they should be like this or like that", I mean if you hate a story just drop it immediately because that's just not your cup of tea
