I don't think the proper ceremony took place.
From what I understood no they are not. In the flashback "beloved" (can't remember his name mb) was sent as a fiancé to Shuraka. Once the political climate went bad he sent beloved back to his kingdom.
They are technically still fiancé but no one is taking it seriously because beloved is a man, plus, the act of sending him back to his kingdom is seen as Shuraka shuning him
They are married but they only got married after ML went to Seth's country and they didn't have a ceremony, ML just paid his bride price. So I guess they should be married..
I'm a bit confused. Was their wedding continued after the poisoning attempt? I mean, are they actually married?
