I’m feeling extremely frustrated, so I ended up writing a lot....
I stopped reading at chapter 50. When I came back ..
what is this? I honestly don’t know anymore... I had some hope for this manhwa. I truly believed it would be different...
But this is deeply disappointing.. And it’s not just because of the underwhelming season finale...
The real issue is that the story hasn’t progressed at all. It just keeps going in circles, over and over...
Worse than that, they resorted to the cheapest and most disgusting scenario possible just to drag the story out introducing a third party...
They took someone who had been in Yeongwoon’s life since he was kid .. someone who was clearly like an older brother, sometimes even like a father... and completely ruined that relationship by giving him romantic feelings toward a child...That is Absolutely disgusting....
I liked their relationship... I was genuinely happy that Yeongwoon had someone he could rely on, someone dependable and safe.. I truly thought he was a good person... But now? He sexually assault him, using “love” as an excuse, claiming that he deserves Yeongwoon, not Seo-in... ..How vile...
Didn’t he see the fear and terror in Yeongwoon’s eyes when he tried to force himself on him? How can you believe you’re “better” while doing something like that ?
And why are you blaming Seo-in for something he never did—and didn’t even know about?
Honestly, he is the most repulsive character in the story....
And it’s not that I’m trying to excuse Seo‑in... He was honestly basard at the beginning that I wanted to smash his head... And that doesn’t excuse his behavior... But his life really was miserable, and everything between them was just a misunderstanding. They truly do love each other... So if he genuinely regrets his actions and changes, then it’s Yeongwoon’s choice if he wants to accpet him...
So Who gave you the right to interfere?
Did he really have to be the last person we see at the end of the season
The author previously said he would play an important role in the story... Is this what she meant? Is his entire role just to be disgusting?
Did we really need to waste half a season just to show his revolting feelings toward a child who has suffered his entire life
Are we supposed to feel sympathy for him? Yeongwoon sees him as an older brother, yet he tries to force something else onto him...
Why do you think you’re better? To hell with you, you bastard.
I don’t know what Season 3 will bring. But if the author turns the drug thing and Yeongwoon’s broken mental state into an excuse to make them fuck, that would be even more disgusting...
The story was far better before this direction. It never needed this kind of twisted emotion... Is this being done for people who like that so-called “hyung” Or what?
Yeongwoon is the biggest victim here.. And even when he wants to rely on someone, there’s no one left...
Seo-in is pitiful too. ...He’s trapped in the past and won’t escape it easily... His entire life is hell, and now he’ll probably blame himself forever for what happened... It would honestly be a miracle if he doesn’t attempt suicide and end his life like that bastard brother...
As for that “hyung"...he can go straight to hell with his disgusting feelings...
I keep telling myself this is the author’s story, and she’s free to do whatever she wants with it...
If I don’t like it, I should just stop reading. But maybe it’s because I had hope for this story
And Unfortunately, I can’t drop a manhwa once I’ve started it, even when it annoys me and I no longer enjoy it.
