I get you, seriously, but trust me, not every reader here is unaware. some might speak up about what’s happening in the world on their social media, some notice the deeper themes in stories, and some are just here to discuss the latest chapter. but again, not everyone is ignorant, and nope, the plot isn't stupid at all, it's realistic, like you said, and as a long-time reader, it often reminds me of other things happening in the real world too.
sorry maybe it came out the wrong way, I'm not saying the readers are unaware of the current situation of the world I was just comparing it to the plot of the manga since ppl in the comments were acting ignorant about the story not what's happening in the real world cuz im obviously not expecting anyone to randomly bring awareness under a manga comment lmao

i very much understand where you're coming from. The original law that the momos uphold 'kill dangerous onis' has disgustingly evolved into unreasonable, discriminating , racist hatred towards onis.
And i get that it's very similar to what's happening in america(im from asia). Im actually extremely disgusted that there's americans out there(probably HIS supporters), who genuinely thinks whatever is happening is ok!?!!? I can't comprehend how living in fear, not knowing whether you stepping out of your home for just 5mins will result in you getting unlawfully taken away or worse. how is he not impeached or arrested yet!?

i've seen one side of twitter where some are getting a little annoyed that every tougenanki(and a few other animes) discussions, will always end up with reallife political debate included. im not saying that we should forget that REAL live people are suffering & living in fear, but fans should be able to read a manga content/update just for the pure enjoyment of it.
Like the other person who replied, not trying to argue or be rude, im actually glad that readers are aware of the world too and TGAK plot is actually pretty amazing . to me, TGAK is of course not the most perfect shounen manga out there, but the unnecessary dislike and hate comments out there is urggghhhh....

everyone talking about how ate this is just genocide and how its being written making it seem hypocritical from the momo side...as if this isn't currently happening in the real world right in front of our eyes. I mean look at the USA and how that orange motherfucker is literally treating people who dont look American, meaning white caucasian, even though they are. even though they didn't create any problems, haven't hurt anyone and were just peacefully living, yet he and his porters call them "ilegal aliens". like this is quite literally the best exemple. unfortunately people who don't learn/care for history will repeat the same mistakes. its disgusting seeing what's happening in the USA and even worse seeing European countries fall for that propaganda and watching the far right rise...
I've already said too much, I didnt even want to delve too deep in this issues because they are quite complex but simply putting it, this is quite realistic. we see it as something stupid and how the momo "dont even listen/just kill" yet when it comes to the real world its being ignores and even worse encouraged behaviour. truly sick how things are going.
