I like the main character because I think he's eccentric which is fairly interesting but there is not much going for me. The story itself has potential due to the MC having a life precious to being do-yun and also the implication of there being other second-lifers, but the story itself is slow on the uptake.
The purple hair girl is just eh because the writer writes her so 2-dimensionally. She doesn't have ANYTHING really going on for her other than being interested in the MC even though she is S-rank hunter.
There's moments in the story where I thought, "MC is just going to beat up this guy and that'll cover one chapter so I'll just skip that chapter so I can get to the point (example, when faced faced with the Yakuza outside of the rift)" and when I did it went exactly how I imagined it.
I'll let it cook because I want to see how they deal with second-lifers, but there's not much going on for me here
