I swear. In the novel, They had sex in the first life when she was 18, and she was 17 when they had sex in the second life. But she was asking for sex since she turned 16 so she could have a heir.
Like he didn’t lay hands on her when she was seven and like he was like buy her whatever the fuck she wants. And I don’t know he was a pretty good husband for one of these stories. I can see why they change the ages when they wrote the story and never said what this man’s age was
Her family was in hurry to make sure that Zachary was in first prince faction, so they made the marriage when Zachary had success in war, but had not made clear his position in court yet. Zachary and his people needed money, so he accepted the marriage for
money only. He acctually always wanted to take a good care of his wife, but he didn't know how to raise a childwife that hated him, Zachary is bad with word,so he only told the butler to make sure she had all the materials things that she needed, while he was fighting in war so he wouldn't lose his noble tittle. But there are somethings that made me uncomfortable:
Fist one: she was too young to marry even for medieval standards. I did a brief research and usually girls would marry when they're at least 12, when they were close to their period and could get pregnant. the noble could get engaged in childhood, but it doesn't make any sense send such a young child away when child could die so easily from any disease and would take so long for her to can actually have an heir.
Second one that I don't like (and I hope it's just a translation mistake cause I'm not reading the novel in english, and the translation is not really good). It's when Zachary is having his first night with Bianca, when she's 17. He had said to her previously that they would only consummate their marriage when she was 18 cause he still kinda saw her as a child and thought she was too young for that. But he loose his patience after their first kiss, so he decides just do it earlier. There is a quick mention about he always wanting to take a good care of her since she arrived and it made him more excited to think he was having sex with a young Bianca. This part made me so uncomfortable, cause is not clear if he's happy she is 1 year younger from 18, the age he previously thought they would have their first night, or if he always wanted to do those things since she arrived at 7 years old. Either way , that sounded weird, it was really unnecessary such a big age gap and such a young age marring an adult. If they had 15 and 25 they could reach the same result in story and wouldn't be so bizarre cause would be historically accurate. She could marry at 15 and have 5 years of neglect cause her husband was at war , and when he came back they could develop better their relationship, it wouldn't change much the story. I need someone who read a better translation to talk to me about this.
Yeah that translation sounds like shit. And in this he doesn’t use the money cause he doesn’t want her to go back empty handed if he dies in war so it doesn’t make since that he would marry her for the money. I don’t get the waiting until 18 thing either was that something they did in medieval times or they throwing that in for us?
in the novel she says they reach adulthood at 16, so that's why she's keeping asking for a heir when she is in that age . I got interested in Bianca cause she was neglected her whole life and made bad decisions for loneliness and lack of support from family or friends, and seeing her going from a alienated, arrogant and naive noble girl to a clever woman who fight for her life and her title is interesting . Zachary is actually a good loving husband, but I do think the author has a little head problem for make them marry in such a young age, completely unnecessarily .

rereading and i’m still not over her dad marrying her off and not keeping up with his 11 YEARS OLD child. He told her not to return and forbade any communication bc he was scared he would « tell her to come back »??? BE SO FOR REAL
