This is so much more than smut. This is about vulnerability and intimacy, its all about their emotions and their worries. Its not just supposed to be sexy, this is reality for some people. A lot of female friendships are like this, minus the sex sometimes. They're super supportive and fill roles men can. They will hold you and care for you and love you like this. That doesn't go for everyone, but a lot of this rand true for me and I know its the same for a lot of women so to write this off as just smut is so reductive of what this manga actually achieves.
