Wow the character development and family dynamic is actually so well written, the characters feel realistic, the patriotic household and how it affects the women. I like how different mc is from her sister, who was given a glimpse of how to actually live instead of just being a doll. Her desire to be loved truly by the one she loves and her rejecting her family may seem selfish but also I feel for her because she just wants to live her life. Meanwhile mc is a lot more shy and obedient bc she was never given freedom or love, (same with her oldest brother who hates his parents but also is too scared to speak up unlike the sister) she has so much trauma that she can’t even understand, and her only source of comfort being desi..
The father is the main problem, his ego and pride blinds him from realising why this family is falling apart.
