I mean I think the good news is that mc seems to have little to no intentions of actually loving guwon cos of just how damn psychotic the dude is... I hope he stays strong
Honestly I rarely even read yaoi with a toxic ml/mc especially if the story is absolute shit. I'm not sure about this story, I hope it's gonna be well written even if guwon is absolutely crazy. I am not sure about how this is going to end, the Sisyphus syndrome is usually correlated with the constant futile attempts of human beings, which might give us an idea of how the mc possible attempt is going to end up. It could also relate to guwon, he is an incredible strange character, he doesn't even look human at all, so maybe (I'm analyzing the title mainly) all of his situation is a punishment. Maybe the people in this city, especially the mc, is living this punishment (practically Sisyphus that has to constantly push this rock over and over but it always falls back down) and this is one of his attempts and all of the things he is remembering are just one of the other countless attempts. Honestly I'm not sure, I think that there are more things to analyze about the story and symbolism but for now I don't really want to get my hopes up for the mc.
Y’all I got the ultimate ick. Like I can’t even yaoi world romanticize this and I romanticize a LOT of bs. Not to be a woke fujoshi or wtv but like he actually grossed me out to my COREEEE. There is no redemption possible I fully agree with mc. What I need to happen is get the murderer to fall deeply in love and then my needs to off himself and canes bro PAINNN or something to that effect
