Yeah. That was him trying to deny reality. Although he was suffering, he kept going. His trauma is not that simple. Imagine having gay awakening in such a tender age, that too when he caught his dad getting fucked in broad daylight in open space. Not only that he also got hard and..well. Yk the rest(saying to the og post). He was disgusted by his dad doing that, but he also hated himself for reacting like that. There's also his mom. So it's understandable. I was uncomfortable too but after knowing what happened i let it go. He's an absolute cutie and a complete sweetheart in later volumes.
idk if you know but hypersexuality/reckless sexual acts are a very real form of selfharm - it's not that outlandish that trauma did that to him especially when that trauma is sexual in nature
Oh i knew about this but i started reading this manga with a different mindset expecting a sweet little highschool lovestory if i had known i was getting myself into something about trauma n stuff i wouldn't read it to begin with or not be shocked and disgusted when some man whoring thing happened
