Wooju (MC) when he was younger his father was a director and he told Woods that he had high hopes for him to be an actor. Following a few year later his dad die leaving his mother and him with a huge amount of debt, leaving Wooju to want to become an actor even more. Wooju's mother ends up having to do many jobs to make up for the debt motivating Wooju more to get better. Later he meets Youngwon (ML) in high school. Youngwon from a early age was discarded by his own mother leaving him traumatized and to be taken care of by his Grandma. His Grandma feels guilty for the damage her past marriages had on her daughter (Youngwon's mother) which one of her ex husbands assaulted her. Youngwon wasn't planning to live very long or planning a future of his own but then he met Wooju. Wooju and Youngwon end up getting really close and even end up dating. Wooju is planning on quitting acting because he's failing ever audition and Youngwon who attends all his auditions for support ends up seeing that, in a effort to help Wooju he talks to another classmate Hwang Sungjoon to sign Wooju up for acting classes which Youngwon paid for.
Hwang Sungjoon the classmate it turns out he has some inferiority complex towards Youngwon wanting to destroy his life he’s bullied him and called Youngwon a “Bum” and started rumors about him ever since he was young. He ends up directing that hatred towards Wooju because he knows it the only thing that gets under Youngwon’s skin. Although when Youngwon asked for help getting Wooju into an acting school he didn’t know Hwang Sungjoon hated him or was the one who isolated him when he was younger.
Wooju even though he was about to quit acting after Youngwon tells him he got him into an acting school he wanted to try again for him.
Acting school is going well for Wooju until he feels like he’s not improving and the fact that acting school was expensive he was going to quit but then Hwang Sungjoon offers him to meet a sponsor. That sponsor ended up being a creepy man that wanted sexual favors in exchange for Wooju’s career. The sexual favors increase leaving Wooju to hate himself and avoid Youngwon. The sexual favors got so bad Wooju ended up getting gang raped and ended up in the hospital from the injures.
Wooju deeply traumatized after the experience gets a call from Youngwon telling him that his Grandma died, Wooju who is in the hospital bed at the time tells Youngwon to never call him again. Youngwon feels utterly alone and abandoned leaving him to want to die but he realizes he has his mother the head of a huge entertainment corporation he begs his mother to debut him as an actor so that Wooju can notice him, he believes Wooju will only ever come back to him and love him again if he’s famous.
Once Wooju is out of the hospital he tries meeting and calling Youngwon again regretting what he said, but Youngwon left with his mother which Wooju didn’t know. Wooju ends up jumping out of a window in an attempt to kill himself which causes the memory loss.

Wooju loses his memory from a "car crash" moving to another town with his mother after the incident, his mother ends up remarrying.
Youngwon finds him again, holding some hatred towards Wooju for “abandoning him” wants revenge and to own Wooju so he can’t leave him again tries to win Wooju’s favor but Wooju ends up finding out his plan making them fall out. Wooju hate’s Youngwon and himself so he tries to attempt again but Youngwon stops him. Wooju ends up having to live with Youngwon because his mother is concerned for his mental state.

Youngwon mostly traps Wooju in his house only allowing him to go out with him on his sets and work under him. Wooju ends up meeting another actor Moogyeom (2nd ML) who he acted with once when they were children.

Okay im getting tired but ive mostly told what you needed to know so yata yata youngwon is possessive and obsessive towards Wooju he even goes as far as locking him up, Youngwon’s manager lets Wooju go, Wooju goes to Hwang Sungjoon not remembering who he is but still having a bad feeling about him but needing someone and a place to stay he contacts him, surprise Hwang Sungjoon wants to “sell” Wooju to other men and to get back at Youngwon AGAIN, Youngwon and Moogyeom to the rescue, Youngwon finds out the truth about what happened to Wooju, blames himself tries to beg for forgiveness but Wooju after gaining his memories back after experiencing his trauma all over again despises him. Youngwon quits acting and Wooju tries acting again but surprise Hwang Sungjoon leaks pictures of what happened to Wooju but Youngwon takes the fall by getting into a fake scandal that he’s doing drugs. Wooju realizes he loved Youngwon more than acting and yata yata happy ending between the two.
