I don't think that is the case. The guy who takes care of Shiren (forgot his name) was supposed to kill him in Korea because the drug he was working is ready and the company he works for has the recipe. But his caretaker/bodyguard decided not to kill him so he lied to the boss and thrown the phone away (they probably gonna run away now)
Nah fr, I just skipped it and that's saying something cuz I be eating shit up like vivarium, Ian's Binding, passion, ect as if it were my last meal.
I always love multiple ship, but this one.. i hate it so much, he doesnt deserve his own side story.
The open ending makes him look like he will get killed tho ( or su1cide attempt )
