Obviously I love to story already, but at the start I was kinda scared that the author would pull an Operation: True love and peach Sorbe move (I've already made a comment about that A year ago) but this is made really well!! You know, a story is fire when yoy don't like a specific trope and the story managed to make you think "OH THIS is an exception"
Like you can follow the plot easil, the pace is really good you connect with the charactes and get into their motives and never think: oh that's so random/Oh, it's so rushed/Oh this feels so forced. And everything is falling into place.
Personally, I don't think that this story is generic. It has a distinctive way of handling already known tropes in a very enjoyable way. Some people say it's easy to predict, but I personally did not predict how the characters would act leading to the current storyplot.
