You know what I hate the most about people and fujoshi?

i agree. for some reason, it’s fine when it’s horror because people have been desensitized. it’s a whole thing of being able to decipher reality from fantasy, and people hate that which they don’t understand. sometimes the lines blur, which is what makes it really controversial overall

Exactly, im exhausted by it. People in comments constantly criticise mangas which have heavy topic and they call people rude names just because they create it or read it or like it. But somehow its completely fine to run over people in GTA and no one calls people who play those games sick or murderers. This hypocrisy is annoying the heck out of me. Like seriously.

I think it's because videogames, films, and other media that touch dark topics its main target are men. The second the target changes to a woman, IT'S WRONG!!!! As if we lacked judgement inherently by being a woman.
Comments like "idk why someone would even want to read something like this!" are really common in dark romance, yaoi, otome games that portray dark topics. It's just because culturally women have to like soft things, whereas men have the freedom to do, read, consume etc, whatever they please

I really don't like to make it a fight of genders but think about it. GTA gets a pass but amnesia memories (otome game) gets hate for a yandere being on it. Lolita gets a pass, but Nii-Chan (from Harada) is banned from mangago. No one gives a shit about fucked up hentai/lolicon content (which its nature its erotic) but the moment a story targeted to women has fucked up storilines, portray rape, kinks, etc is frowned upon because it's bad and it shouldn't exist because it's bad and fetishizing!!!
