I get where you're coming from but it genuinely depends on the person in question. Some people do get off to things like that (booktok proves it)
I think we are in an era where people point fingers at whoever they deem 'immoral' based on their personal views.
Why bother caring about what others think of you don't get off to what you read? It's your life afterall
Why do people think it’s okay to play games where you kill or torture people but treat you like shit and pervert because you like to read mangas which contain controversial topics? I genuinely don’t understand. Can someone explain it to me? Why?
I don’t really play games but a lot of people who do are like “oh yeah, I just literally killed this pedestrian with my car, I intentionally run into him for fun” in gta and literally no one calls them a murderers or whatever, but as long as you like to read controversial books or novels or manga you are immediately called a pervert/necrophilist/rapist or a pedophile.
Why are people like that? Do they genuinely think we get off to the stuff we read? I just don’t get it
