This is so awkward. Imagine the kid gets older and he relies that this uncle (now dad) was his bio parent who left for 3 years, and seeing his depressed asf dad because of this bio parent, who came back pretending to be an uncle, and then become his stepdad in a way?? But is technically his actual dad. That’s a crazy mind game for a child tbh and if this was real it’d mess with the child’s viewpoint on identity and relationships (and we’re not even talking about the history and dynamics between everyone in the story).
