Exactly. It's a huge problem in the internet right now (and probably will be forever). People have a really hard time understanding nuance and the actual thought behind the words they use. Not to mention how using words like this so loosely actually just ends up desensitizing them.

Yeah, the internet can turn anything into a buzz word which makes it slowly loose it's actual meaning. Grooming and pedophile are two of the big ones that are wrongly used all the time.
