Not only that. It's also child trafficking and grooming. How the author thought that after saying the kids that were being sold at the auction were ORPHANS ABANDONED BY THEIR PARENTS and that they would be better off with a MASTER AS SEX SLAVES we were all gonna cheer and think of it as an adorable resolution is beyond me. I don't understand why they chose such a horrific topic and played it off as the most normal thing in the world
the story isn’t bad and as a short story, pretty good. however, i think this would’ve been way better if it was a bdsm function that they met at and not a literal slave auction. the author basically tried to justify slavery, and the first couple of chapters i was scratching my head confused on if mc actually worked at a slave auction or not until it was confirmed. it just doesn’t make me fully enjoy this story as it doesn’t sit right with me that these two characters are endorsing slavery lmao
