todd (black hair)
on the last day of the job dennis leaves todd with the sheep and goes back to town to report to his boss that he's done with the job and he even made a new friend... the boss gets angry telling him he should not have trusted anybody he met over there so dennis runs back to the forest then sees that todd had killed all the sheep so there was blood everywhere then he hears todd's voice calling him and follows it to the edge of the cliff and he jumps...so yeah dennis died and todd was an evil blood thirsty spirit that took the form of a human meaning he had been tormenting the forest all along and killing the animals
I meant more like happy ending? Vague? Or downright depressing?
