I'm sorry, but how are we supposed to know this? If the devs had added this information somewhere on the site none of us would have done anything to the lists? But they didn't and this information is only available if you really go looking for it. If a person just continues to use the site casually, then they won't have any idea that they're not supposed to touch the lists.
At least when they disabled the comments it said so at they top of the page. Has they done that, then I don't think there would be any issues.
Should I delete them all back to being empty?

nah that’s a lot of work me thinks if you want to edit your list sure whatever if you want to add to it sure whatever if you want to leave it alone sure whatever

Oh i didnt know, I didn't add much maybe one or two new ones, because the last update i read about the situations i remember reading that adding new things to your list have no effect. I wish there was an announcement on the home page for things like this instead of searching the posts in topics, because there are so many that it gets hidden really fast.
are you asking about bookmarking or ratings/tags? or something else entirely

Hey! Are you basing this off stuff youve heard from the devs like emails or anything? Im just wondering if your basing this off what other people have said or have been able to contact the devs.
Honestly, I may be alone on this, but I don't really need or care about the restoration. As long as the devs keep the site up snd running, I'm willing to move on from here
Through. And there are people who just login weeks after crash. Of course they would panic seeing their list gone. Just like everyone did, 1st time they logged in. And if everyone stopped writing about it, they wouldn't tell if there was a crash and that everyone has the same problem. If don't like to read it, then scroll further if it bothers you. Simple as that, otherwise do some anger management LOL. If there was a Yellow Bar on top of Homepage like they use to do, people wouldn't resort into constant asking the same question. So if you want to blame someone, blame the Devs for not putting official announcement.
Besides, who to listen anyway. There are two groups of unofficial readers, who to listen to anyway. One is saying that they are still working on the fix (where did they get their information from?) and other group telling it's already done. (Only tagged/rated will be returned. And only a handful Non-rated comes through. As they got same automatically replied email from the Devs)
BESIDES if they don't want us to touch our list, they would have kept the Tagging/Marking LOCKED!! But they unlocked it days ago. Meaning, they are done with the maintenance. There hasn't been anything new movement since FEBRUARY 2nd for me. And I'm still missing 4000+ non-rated/tagged from my list. And all Notes/Comments review are gone forever as well.

There needs to be a pinned post/general mass dming or popup somewhere for stuff like this. I already left my reading/already read lists alone because I saw a post a couple weeks ago but I would not have known to not add more to my want to read list if I didn't randomly scroll down to topics to see if there were any more updates to the situation. I get it's making it harder on them and I appreciate them for even trying to get stuff back to normal but not getting that information out somehow is not gonna make it any easier.
weeks have left you alone for a week. And you all STILL don't understand what's going on with the site. and STILL can't follow directions.
1. LEAVE YOUR LISTS THE HECK ALONE!. stop making more work for the devs. what part of that do you not understand? don't touch your lists, don't add to them, don't mess with them at all!!! you want to keep adding manga's later use your browser (google, firefox) bookmarks to bookmark things for now. if you can't do that, write them down on paper (old school).
2. if you email the devs you will get a bot email back state, that NO you will not be getting unmarked and unrated mangas back. Sorry folks but this is how things go when you lose things to a very bag glitch aka losing equipment. IF you get an unmarked or unrated manga back. consider yourself lucky.
3. NO there is no timeline on when this will be fixed. OH WELL TO BAD FOR ALL OF US. look people the more you screw with your lists as stated in #1. the longer it's going to take for the devs to get through everything. LEAVE THE LISTS ALONE!!!
4.ARE THERE GOING TO BE POSTS WHEN FIXED? for the billionth time. Yes. so wait. quietly. go read, go play games. go watch anime. go learn to cook! shocking i know.
5. talk about something other than the glitch!! really we're all tired of reading about it. updates will be posted when they come in.
6. DO NOT go into every manga to mark "want to read" "Reading" "Read" "chapter 5" whatever. Because if there's another glitch those comments can go to. again use your browser to bookmark (google, firefox)
7. No we do not know if the comments for the mangas are coming back. Why don't we know? because just getting the lists back in the first place is taking this long because NONE of you listened in the first place of LEAVE YOUR LISTS ALONE!!!
