Ok spoilers....
He will leave for meetings and she will continue her hard hearted ways and shoo him off...he comes back during bad snow blizzard coz he promised her.. shes secretly waiting for him, worrying. He comes back then he gets sick she takes care of him but her true feelings starts to come to surface.. there is a significant scene where they both fully and honestly talk about their true feelings and pain from the loss. Then he has to leave and so he does without her...then his grandmother gets ill and he learns that a telegram was also sent to erna so he knows she will return for the grandmother. While shes travelling there is a landslide and the train crashes badly. He learns about it goes there and is a madman looking for her personally, injuring himself. He cant find her they tell him everyone has been buried alive under the landslide but his brother comes and stops him from going in deeper as he found her in the medical barracks they made. He goes to her and first thing he says to her is 'I love You' she shocked but basically forgives him everything since then. She finally comes back as his wife back toegther with him. Some time passes she becomes more self reliant and becomes a strong confident duchess in society, she has a good rep by this point. Lots and lots of s£x then she gets pregnant again and has twins.. boy and a girl. Ariel and Frederick I think. Boy has blond hair blue eyes girl has brown hair and grey eyes.
