You seem to have forgotten my original post was criticizing Japanese culture. Like, that was in fact my basic premise. I like some of their media and I also think their culture is fucked in many ways. Funnily enough, these attitudes aren't mutually exclusive. And you act like using the literal dictionary definition of what a child is is moving the goalposts, which is certainly an interesting hill to die on. It is moving the goalpost because you originally used your ideas of when its ok to sexualize someone, 18, then used the definition of a word to move it to 20 because thats what their age of majority is. You like using definitions, that is a textbook example.
