since she’s a noble lady it couldn’t have been her that prepared the food in the first place. i think the maids purposely prepared it like that. another thing could be that the sister knew and she wanted Liphia to speak up for once against the abuse but she didn’t which made the sister upset
Except she looked upset when she did speak up, even if that was an appropriate thing to do in the first place.
It's just weird to me that she basically did a 180 after that but we don't really get any explanation as to why. I mean we can draw our own conclusions but it really wasn't given any kind of context in the beginning of the story, at the very least.
