What are you saying. Did you really read these chapter or you only read those comments ? It's the omega who cut ties with the Alpha and no the other way. The omega makes these promises thinking he will present as an alpha. And when he presented as an omega instead he cut ties with the child, who he thought will be the omega but presented as an alpha.

juhyeok operates out of a place of internalized misogyny, hates being an omega due to personal disgust for femininity, and takes all of those negative feelings out on the ppl around him (which happens even before the scenting btw). he revoked his love for suah bc he's unsatisfied with being an omega (he spent YEARS telling suah that he loved him) and treats suah like a sex object (going as far as to SA him in ch14 for cum). and thus far he is not self-aware nor does he try to self-reflect.

but i recognize that's just part of juhyeok's character struggle. and i think the author did a good job in showing REAL human things that ppl suffer with irl. obv the story would be boring if both of them were perfect with no problems from the start.

I don't agree, they don't exist for each other? A CHILDHOOD promise is not a life time contract that they are obligated to fulfill. Top isn’t owed lifelong devotion because of something silly they said when they were kids. Bottom stopped liking top when he presented as an omega and vice-versa. Literally, doesn't LIKE HIM anymore, no point in being friends with someone you don't like

Su-ah being SAed is wrong, genuinely don't know how that didn't make it into my comment but it is. Though, the cause ensues the reaction, Su-ah secretly scented him for years which had a plethora of side effects, in addition to the fact without the scent Bottom literally cannot go ABROAD which is what he's been working to all this time, the reaction is wrong, but that doesn't exist in a vacuum. At the end of the day, Su-ah created the dependency, then controls the access, (done multiple times) which is ridiculous?
And Bottoms misogyny isn't unwarranted, ask why he hates omega? They're vulnerable, socially inferior, and treated like objects. The hate is born from systematic pressures, it's something he not only didn't want for himself, but shouldn't have been at all. Additionally, yes he treats Su-ah like a sex object, Su-ah literally set that up idk what more to say here. Su-ah literally romanticizes the dependency; strategically withholding relief, prolonging arrangements, etc., you again can't be surprised when someone depends on you after you FORCED them to. Su-ah altered Juhyeok's autonomy and biological agency for years, and basically locked bottom to top, half of the events here wouldn't have happened if top didn't take it upon himself to mess with someone's heat cycles, which is why I DO NOT believe that the story should write bottom in the wrong, I see that a lot
