Ur not supposed to believe him- they make it very obvious from the beginning with expressions that arent there but u can still feel, he also drops arguably way too many hints too (specific phrasing in almost every single chapter filled with obvious lies). If someone genuinely believed him they are just not good readers
Damn that's terrifying, Imagine someone manipulating your entire world into his liking and him being the only source of information. Im glad to say I never believed in him, I nevaaah fell for the gaslighting.
