This is definitely something! a one of a kind story
A now full grown adult, Rentaro went to visit his "parents' hometown village" where he grew up as a kid. He wanted to find "himself" which in the sense he wanted to know he had lived on that village in the past, he met tonss of people that would categorize him as the son of Tsukiko (his mother).
As he unwind the memories of his past. Gradually he met 2 boys close to his age, a shrine watcher, named Sami and Shiro, a flashy villager.
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS SUPERRRR AWESOME. This is no ordinary village, they believed to have wild dogs living among them (various of wild dogs). One of them is wild dog that Rentaro's mother promised to be wedded with (yup crazy), plot twist it was Sami. [ that part of the crazy shit happened is for me sad ] :(( then there is Shiro who none of the villagers know (like he is not in any of their recorded face memory) and like... thats lonely :((
This story is a backflip and Cartwheel of emotion of sorts. Some comments particularly point out of the art style being a lil to kid like but art is art, representation of them being adults might be odd. but BUT THE STORYY GIVEESS OKAYYYY, DEFINITELY GIVESS i cant hate emm
