It's INSANE that the ending with the old man sponsor was the safest option. His debts are paid so his family is safe, he's whored out but will never be put in a snuff film, and he wouldn't have some strange attachment to a psychopath, face new levels of truth and trauma, and get involved in the plot thickening???!!!!
Like oh my gawd, I would not surprised if it was the nephew who made the second timeline happen to make sure he got his vengeance. I would even more so not be surprised if he ended up obsessed with the fighter like all these other men because he never actually witnessed the indomitableness ദദ╥ ᴗ ╥)
I think the only reason I can stomach all this is because Hojung is not evil and always bounced back like some tough stretchy rubber. Like I'm just rooting for him to have a peaceful ending without dying if possible.
