Hi so yeah ml will be violent with mc but to reassure you ml will suffer from it. Personally, I still feel a bit resentful about what he did but I suppose most readers end up forgiving him

Here's the spoilers













































I'll summarize the whole story

So ml is the second son of a count and is expected to be heir of the county since the first son is suffering from asthma and partly pretending to be sick. So, as a child, ml gets tired of all the studies he had to do instead of his sickly brother. One day, he runs away from the manor and meets mc on the mountain. From then on, ml starts going up the mountain and playing with mc neglecting his studies. So his father sends him abroad for studies despite his initial resistance (later the butler coax ml saying ml could have anything, even mc, if he became count in future ). ML goes to foreign country for studies just so that he can marry mc in future

So after completing his studies. He returns and searches for mc. He can't find him so he posts notice about mc since he doesn't know MC's name and also because his father threatens to marry him to noble girl in upcoming ball, but almost all villagers come to him in hopes of getting reward. ML feels hopeless, distrustful and irritated when he couldn't bear how those people tarnished his memories with MC.

After all that fiasco, someone turns up at his door claiming to be MC but ML being traumatized, he orders guards to beat that person and leave him in the square so very villagers would take that as warning. Later, his butler arrives at the count and asks ML if he met MC. Then, ML realizes that the person he order to be beaten was indeed the person he was searching for.

After that there'll be chasing, and repenting and happy ending at last
