Because lists have been scrambled, that might be why you're experiencing this?
When you put works into read/already read there is a button to subscribe to it to get updates.
If they were works that were in want to read - they may have been put in your read/already read lists
And then it auto subscribed so you started receiving notifications for them
Just go to the work you're getting notifications for - go to where it says I'm reading/ already read and hit edit
There should be a checkbox that says 'subscribe this manga'
Uncheck that

Oh I'm so sorry what I meant is I did read the manga/manhua but I never subscribe to it at all. I just read them but for some reason I keep getting notifications about them despite not subscribing or putting them on any folders or bookmark.

I have found the solution and also kinda confused. So once you read something it automatically said I have read this manga/manhua but then the confusing part happened. I have read this story like years ago but then suddenly getting so many notification on it this week which is the confusing part to me. Cause why notify me when it should notify me like years ago when I read this? And not right now, when I didn't read it since? So yeah (english isnt my first language so there might be some issue for the grammar and all, I deeply apologize to it).
I'm guessing someone started uploading the official version?
I'm confused because you're saying you didn't even add it to your list.
Because mangago shouldn't automatically add it. Maybe it might have something to do with the site recovery. Like it might have been added to your lists for some reason?

I know. Which is so weird like I did read it but I didn't add this to any folder or bookmark it like why notify me? But I guess mangago had some issues right now. So I guess a heads up?.
So I know that there is something going on with mangago right now about the reading list. But I what I don't understand is there is so many notification for the list that I INDEED READ but I never bookmark or put them in -What happened next-. I just read them but not really into them and now it keeps notify about it and I hate it cause the manga/manhua that I'm reading and bookmarking isn't the one updating but the ones I'm not even bookmarking. And you know that feeling when you received a notification about stuff you like only to received not what you like? That's what I'm suffering right now （/TДT)/
